Help the man who helped you navigate your career.

By Victoria Mack

If you’ve read MC Press Online, formerly Midrange Computing magazine, you likely fondly remember author Thomas M. Stockwell. His decades of commentary and analysis on a wide variety of industry-relevant topics made him a favorite of readers.

When Tom decided to semi-retire, he stepped out of the IBM arena and became a reporter for a local newspaper in his hometown of St. Helena in California’s beautiful Napa Valley. On September 28, 2020, Tom wasn’t reporting news; instead he became part of the news when his home, along with many others, was burned to the ground by what is known as the Glass Fire.

You can help the man who helped you navigate your career via this GoFundMe page.
