Acquisition enhances IBM Consulting's cybersecurity and sovereign technology capabilities for regulated and public sector clients

IBM UK today announced the acquisition of Logiq Consulting, an NCSC-assured UK cybersecurity consultancy with deep expertise in highly regulated environments including the UK Defence Industry, UK Critical National Infrastructure and the wider Public Sector.

Logiq Consulting brings specialist capabilities spanning cybersecurity assurance, Secure by Design, secure systems engineering, digital transformation and secure managed services, helping organisations embed security from the outset and deliver resilient technology in complex operating environments.

Logiq Consulting extends IBM’s cybersecurity transformation portfolio and adds complementary capabilities to SiXworks’ (an IBM Company) digital transformation expertise in Defence and the Public Sector. The acquisition advances IBM’s broader hybrid cloud, AI and digital sovereignty agenda. Together, IBM and Logiq Consulting will help UK clients maintain control over critical data and technology environments, meet evolving security and regulatory requirements, and adopt AI securely, with confidence.
