Profound Logic Software, a leader in IBM i application modernization and development, has launched a survey that will examine how companies are currently utilizing their IBM i platforms.

While there have been several studies conducted by organizations to gain a better technical understanding of development on the platform, the goal of this survey is to get a clearer picture of the state of IBM i modernization in today’s businesses. The responses to this survey will help to paint a picture of how the platform is being used, and what the future of IBM i development looks like for these companies.

“We speak to hundreds of IBM i professionals a year who have opinions about the platform and the subject of modernization,” states Profound Logic CEO, Alex Roytman. “Our survey seeks to organize those responses and reveal a picture of what IBM i usage and modernization looks like at this point in time.”

The “State of the IBM i Modernization” survey will run until December 21^st, and is open to anyone who currently develops applications on the platform, or who are in a management role with those developers.
