Expanded partnership better positions the PHP-on-IBM i leaders to help organizations maximize their investment in IBM i.
BCD Software LLC., part of the Quadrant Group and an IBM i industry leader for almost 40 years, and Zend, the PHP company and provider of the #1 application server for mission-critical PHP applications, have announced a significant upgrade to their partnership: BCD is now a Zend Premier Partner, the highest level of Zend partnership available.
The two industry leaders first expanded their partnership in March, solidifying BCD and Zend’s position as the go-to resource for PHP on IBM i. “The partnership has been so successful since the expansion that it makes sense to take it to the next level,” says Stephen Woodard, CEO of the Quadrant Group.
In addition to being Zend's preferred partner for IBM i modernization and PHP development services, BCD’s Premier Partnership includes direct access to Zend executives, dedicated sales and technical personnel to work on sales opportunities, sales incentives and additional joint marketing activities.
BCD has been given the Premier Partner designation because of their commitment to PHP and Zend solutions. They have met Zend Server sales numbers for three consecutive quarters and exceeded Zend's partner knowledge guidelines for sales, development and support.
BCD has also collaborated with Zend to promote PHP through several marketing activities since March. This includes joint webinars, a highly-attended PHP reception at COMMON’s Spring Conference and another reception at Zend’s upcoming ZendCon Conference.
From the development perspective, BCD introduced Z-Ray integration in WebSmart PHP, their rapid web application development solution. One of BCD’s Certified Zend Professionals also advises on the PHP Toolkit for IBM i.
“We’re proud to be acknowledged as a Zend Premier Partner and will continue to invest in our partnership,” says Stephen Woodard, CEO of the Quadrant Group. “BCD is committed to helping organizations succeed with PHP on IBM i and we’re looking forward to adding even more value to our collective offerings. With BCD and Zend, organizations have a proven PHP-on-IBM i resource, from development and professional services to deployment.” 2
“BCD’s dedication to PHP and our partnership is evident in how they have delivered on every aspect of our agreement. BCD has exceeded our expectations and we’re excited to welcome them as a Zend Premier Partner,” says Stu Schmidt, President of Zend Technologies.
