IBM PureApplication Service V2.2 delivers the ability to support multiple public or private networks in cloud groups.

 

IBM PureApplication Service is an off-premise, cloud application platform that provides the ability to accelerate and simplify the repeatable deployment and lifecycle management tasks of enterprise middleware workloads, such as:

  • IBM WebSphere® Application Server
  • IBM Business Process Management
  • IBM Mobile
  • IBM Portal
  • IBM Commerce
  • IBM Analytics

 

Combined with PureApplication System, PureApplication Service provides hybrid cloud capabilities to let you run the same enterprise workloads either on-premise, off-premise, or both.

 

This PureApplication Service release allows you to provision PureApplication Service in numerous new configurations of cores and storage. This includes larger, 40-core compute nodes that enable compute-intensive workloads. In addition, you can purchase and configure DirectLink and DirectLink Cloud Exchange to enable faster connectivity at competitive prices.

 

PureApplication Services V2.2 benefits include the ability to:

  • Support multiple public or private networks in cloud groups.
  • Secure multi-tiered applications on the cloud.
  • Secure each layer.
