DSI VTL Conductor and Tracker integrates seamlessly to existing environments to deliver an increased level of automation to IBM i environments.

Dynamic Solutions International, a leading international provider of data storage solutions, today announced the release of DSI VTL Conductor and Tracker media management software. DSI VTL Conductor and Tracker integrate seamlessly with existing IBM i environments, adding host automation to control the backup and recovery process with an easy to use media management solution.

With the ability to implement increased levels of host automation and simplify file level recovery, DSI VTL Conductor and Tracker are designed to be flexible, matching individual company needs.

“The combined functionality of DSI VTL Conductor and Tracker add a level of automation and media tracking that is currently not seen in any other management software for IBM i,” said Chris Bremer, CTO of Dynamic Solutions International. “The ability to manage an entire enterprise from a single server without having to leave the IBM i interface is a huge improvement for VTL automation and management.”

Used in conjunction with a DSI VTL system, Conductor and Tracker were designed to provide an alternative approach to simplifying the backup and recovery process.

“We designed Conductor and Tracker specifically for our VTL customers that are looking to advance their level of automation and system monitoring to improve data backup operations, said Leo Salvaggio, president of Dynamic Solutions International. “We listened to the challenges IT departments face and developed a solution to relieve the burden of manual VTL management, while simultaneously decreasing the incidents of management error.
