The BI solution, available for on-premise deployment or as a subscription service, includes new features, language versions, and improved technical capabilities.

Quiterian, a leading European developer of advanced and predictive analytics software for business and non-technical users, announced at the recent Gartner Business Intelligence Summit in Los Angeles the launch of Quiterian DDWeb 3.0.

This version of the self-service and agile BI platform includes new features and functionalities of current advanced and predictive analysis techniques, such as the validation tests in the C4.5 Decision Tree technique and new data pre-processing methods. The platform’s technical capabilities--including selections--have been improved, especially in the areas of installation and user management. As a result, Quiterian DDWeb is now even faster and more intuitive than before. Additionally, it has been translated into two new languages, Chinese and Japanese, in order to respond to the needs and requirements of organizations worldwide.

Josep Arroyo, Quiterian CEO, said: "The substantial improvements in functionality and performance in Release 3.0 and the new cloud-based subscription model clearly establish DDWeb as a complementary business intelligence application for companies which already have implemented traditional BI reporting environments."

"The Gartner Business Intelligence Summit was very helpful for understanding important trends and market developments in the business intelligence world," said Al Saavedra, Quiterian vice president of Sales. "In particular, the new features and functionalities of Quiterian DDWeb’s current techniques, such as validation tests in the C4.5 algorithm, and new data pre-processing methods, will definitely contribute to bringing advanced and predictive analytics closer to end-user organizations."

Quiterian DDWeb 3.0 is available in an on-premise version as well as a subscription version in the Cloud. Quiterian Analytics SaaS (name given to all subscription versions of Quiterian DDWeb) offers an alternative which is as fast, user-friendly, customizable, scalable and transparent as the on-premise version. It also delivers flexible rental, immediate deployment, automatic updates, reduced total cost, and aligns needs and requirements of business users with those of the IT department.

Quiterian, a Silver Sponsor at the Gartner BI Summit, demonstraed Quiterian DDWeb in the Solutions Showcase area of the recent Gartner BI Summit in Los Angeles.
