Townsend Security, a leading authority in data privacy solutions, is attending and exhibiting Alliance Key Manager and KMIP support as part of the combined OASIS booth at the RSA Conference in the Moscone Center San Francisco on February 25 - March 1, 2013. The company will demonstrate the full key management life-cycle including creating, registering, locating, retrieving, deleting, and transferring symmetric encryption keys.

Meeting the OASIS KMIP specification enables interoperable communication between cryptographic environments and key managers, reducing the operational, training, and infrastructure costs for key management in the enterprise.

"As companies work to implement encryption to meet data security compliance regulations such as PCI DSS, HIPAA/HITECH, FFIEC, FISMA and others, enterprise key management is a critical component of the security strategy. KMIP is an important part of this strategy as it provides an open industry standard for key management.," said Patrick Townsend, Founder and CEO of Townsend Security. "At Townsend Security we are committed to open and affordable security solutions for enterprise customers and are happy to support the KMIP standard in our Alliance Key Manager solution."
