When you copy a completed source member from a test library to a production library, you should delete the test version. If you move the source member rather than copying it, you won't have to worry about forgetting to delete the test version.
If you have created the QUSRTOOL Move Member (MOVM) command, you can use the following method to create a user-defined option in PDM that allows you to execute the Move Member command from the Work with Members Using PDM list.
Just start PDM and select option 3 to work with members. On the Work with Members Using PDM display, press F16 for user options. Press F6 to create a new user option. On the Create User-Defined Option display, enter the command shown in 4.

Now you can enter MM next to any item on the Work with Members Using PDM list. You will be prompted to enter the qualified TOFILE parameter. When you return to the Work with Members display, press F5 to refresh the list and see that the member has been removed from the source file.
