Shield Advanced Solutions, leading providers of High Availability software, today added a new solution to their product suite. RE4i — Object Distribution for IBM i. RE4i provides the ability to distribute objects across IBM i systems installed in your network. It allows objects to be saved and restored onto remote systems, that have RE4i running, using a single command. This handy object distribution tool will save time and money and simplifies multi system environment management. Relying on RE4i avoids the need for time consuming, save FTP and restore, to distribute objects across systems. Neat features allow you to distribute fixes, distribute save files and more. Security is maintained through using the same user profile on both systems.

The product is packaged as a LPP and managed using IBM license repository to simplify installation and product management. Pricing for RE4i is $500 US per install.
