IBM Sterling Warehouse Management System V9.5 offers new capabilities to help drive down total cost of warehouse customer order fulfillment.

 

Sterling Warehouse Management System V9.5 provides new capabilities for execution of warehouse tasks on Microsoft Windows™ mobile devices. Dependency on the operating system of the mobile device is now removed and users have a greater choice of devices they can choose.

 

New in this release:

  • Continues to focus on productivity improvements in the warehouse with new features for putting away inventory received in the warehouse.
  • Delivers more flexibility with additional user exits for business logic customization, for example, to put away partial pallet inventory.
  • Supports a new process for sorting inventory into individual orders after the batch picking operation. This helps to optimize shipping costs, since the complete order can be shipped in one carton.
