Rational Team Concert provides the developer role for the Rational Solution for Collaborative LifeCycle Management. This release provides three main features:
- Performance
- Expanded platform support
- Enhanced process sharing
IBM delivers as much as a 25% performance boost when rendering plans in the web UI, compared to the previous release. New, expanded platform support for Mac OS X clients, new Chrome browser support and updated Rational Team Concert client support for Microsoft™ Visual Studio 2012. Enterprise deployments are now able to share a common process across projects while enabling some local project add-on process customization.
IBM also added more flexible dependency build support for z/OS® and improved visibility of files changes for code reviews. Finally, when Rational Team Concert is used together with the new Rational LifeCycle Adaptors, customers can now easily link and integrate with HP ALM, HP Quality Center, Git, Jira and Visual Studio Team System enabling incremental adoption of Rational Team Concert into existing tool infrastructures.
