IBM Power E850 and E870 Solution Editions for Healthcare give hospitals new configuration options for deploying ISV software.

 

IBM® Power® E850 and E870 Solution Editions for Healthcare provide tailored, cost-effective system configuration options for medium and large hospitals deploying approved healthcare ISV software, such as Epic's Electronic Health Record (EHR) application. Power E850 and E870 servers running IBM AIX® Standard Edition, IBM PowerVM® Enterprise Edition, and IBM PowerHA® SystemMirror® Standard Edition offer a solid foundation for hospitals that require systems with a proven track record of reliability and performance in the healthcare industry.

 

New small and medium tier software license features and new one-year and three-year Software Maintenance PIDs are available to support delivery of PowerVM Enterprise Edition and PowerHA SystemMirror for AIX Standard Edition software when purchased with AIX Standard Edition License and Software Maintenance PIDs and a qualifying Power E850 or E870 server with Solution Edition for Healthcare processor features EHC1 or EHC2.
