Key new features make it more efficient for RPG programmers to modernize existing green screens and new RPG programs.

Improved RPG Open Access Formatting

Presto 6’s OA rendering engine displays a more complete out-of-the-box web version of green screens modernized using Presto's OA approach:

• Screens include function keys and text constants like input field labels
• Hidden fields remain hidden
• Absolute positioning places elements in the same spot as the green screen version

Developers then use Presto’s visual editor to further enhance the screens. Change Management With Presto’s screen-by-screen change management feature, you can easily move individual screens and all of their customizations from your development environment to your production environment.

Global Identities

Global identities enable you to define screen identities that override Presto's out-of-the-box automatic detection settings. This makes it easier to uniquely identify non-standard screens.

• Radio buttons and checkboxes can appear in a row or as a vertical list

• Presto’s automatic subfile option detection module is now configurable

• Support for overriding the default outqueue in the spool file viewer and PDF converter

• The subfile option flyout menu appears when you click the record row

• Changes and improvements for continued mobile support

• New line key support
