Help/Systems Skybot Scheduler allows integration of workflow and IT and business processes with PowerCenter.

Help/Systems LLC today announced that its web-based enterprise job scheduler, Skybot Scheduler, has received the Informatica Seal of Approval.

Skybot Scheduler includes an interface for Informatica PowerCenter. This interface allows PowerCenter users to integrate workflows with other IT and business processes. Skybot became an Informatica Marketplace Partner earlier this year.

Informatica, a leading provider of data integration software and services, puts software through a rigorous evaluation process before awarding its exclusive Seal of Approval.

The Seal is awarded to software hosted on the Informatica Marketplace that has undergone comprehensive lifecycle testing and validation procedures performed by Informatica Certification Engineers.

“By achieving the Informatica Seal of Approval, Help/Systems gives their users confidence that they are using proven tools backed by Informatica’s expertise and integrity,” explains Scott Geffre, vice president, Informatica Marketplace, Informatica. “Skybot Scheduler provides Informatica users with excellent enterprise job scheduling control, flexibility and visibility in a centralized cross-platform solution that customers require today to stay competitive.”

The full, seven-level evaluation process includes:

  • Review of the functional specifications
  • Assessment of architecture and workflow
  • Product availability and system requirement checks
  • Black box, stability, stress, and performance testing
  • Installation and deployment procedures
  • Evaluation of supporting documentation

“We are thrilled to receive Informatica’s Seal of Approval,” said Janet Dryer, CEO of Help/Systems, “We worked hard to develop an interface that enables Informatica users to take advantage of Skybot’s job scheduling capabilities. This honor confirms that effort. We are proud to partner with Informatica.”

Skybot Scheduler will be featured at Informatica World, held in Las Vegas from June 4-7, 2013. Attendees can experience its powerful integration with Informatica firsthand at the Skybot Scheduler conference booth (E9).
