DataPower XC10 Appliance firmware V2.5 offers an innovative, pragmatic approach to harness the power of distributed caching as a complete, purpose-built, and easy-to-use solution. This updated firmware delivers a comprehensive, flexible, and easy-to-use caching solution for your business-critical applications and can help you take advantage of the value of your existing infrastructure investments.

 

DataPower XC10 Appliance firmware V2.5 offers:

  • Enhancements to grid rebalancing capabilities for regular hardware maintenance or unexpected failover events
  • Support for the latest versions of WebSphere Application Server, including V8.0,  V8.5, and V8.5.5, with the new Liberty profile
  • Session  state store provider for use with Active Server Pages (ASP) .NET  applications
  • Integration with WebSphere Portal and WebSphere Commerce dynamic cache service, making content available in centralized location and available on server startup to help increase efficiency
  • New eXtreme Scale UI message center to aid in event notification and understanding of the current state of the grid
  • Support for two phase commit transactions
  • Dynamic cache use case for multi-master replication deployments
  • Improvements  to security administration
