Microsoft Certified Windows Vista Terminal Emulation
Through its participation in the Microsoft Partner Program, the 2007 release of the Zephyr PASSPORT software will be officially certified for use with Windows Vista.
The Microsoft Partner Program
To obtain certified status in the Microsoft Partner Program, Zephyr achieved competency in the ISV Software Solutions category with its PASSPORT Web to Host software. Veritest, a company authorized by Microsoft to perform the certification and verification, conducted the testing.
PASSPORT Web to Host was subjected to a variety of standard test scenarios on Windows servers, desktops and browsers to ensure a high level of compatibility. PASSPORT passed all tests during the first verification process. The certification of PASSPORT PC to Host is pending.
A critical requirement of the Microsoft certification process is a favorable opinion of at least 3 clients using the partnerÆs products or services. References of customers using the PASSPORT application were provided to Microsoft and interviewed prior to ZephyrÆs inclusion in the Microsoft program.
