Profound Logic Software, a leader in IBM i application modernization solutions and services, is pleased to join with TMW Systems, the leading provider of transportation management software solutions, in unveiling the Web Editions of Innovative, TL2000 and TMT Fleet Maintenance–IBM i, all TMW product enhancements developed using Profound Logic’s tools.

“With the new Web Editions of their IBM i products, TMW is delivering powerful applications that go beyond anything possible using 5250 emulators and traditional green-screens,” stated Profound Logic CEO Alex Roytman. “The Profound UI suite enabled TMW to give their customers the highly functional graphical applications they were asking for. We look forward to a continued, productive partnership with TMW for future application enhancement efforts.”

TMW Systems worked with Profound Logic to create a custom conversion theme in Profound UI that automatically transformed elements of the character-based applications into checkboxes, dropdowns and grids based on TMW’s display standards. Furthering that effort, TMW maximized the options within Profound to add new tab- and menu-based functionality for logical business processes. This enhancement completed a new software look and feel that is more familiar to users of common business applications, while emphasizing the logic and workflow already present within the respective TMW products.

“By using the Profound UI suite for this extensive project, we’ve been able to move our applications to browser delivery very rapidly and with a range of benefits as well,” said Ray West, TMW VP and GM. “The Web Editions of the Innovative, TL2000 and TMT Fleet Maintenance–IBM i applications go beyond anything possible on terminal emulators and offer our customers greater control, flexibility and more functionality than ever before with easier training of new personnel.”

Profound Logic CEO Alex Roytman will help present the new Web Editions of the Innovative and TL2000 products alongside TMW Director of Development Matt Mullins during the annual TransForum User Conference for customers of TMW Systems. Additionally, Profound Logic will be on-site for live product demonstrations throughout the conference at booth #128 in the TransForum Technology Hub.
