MC Press Online and the MC Resource Centers have announced the winner of the “You’ll ‘FLIP’ for Our IT Solutions” high definition video camera giveaway. Gary Mikos, a programmer/analyst from Akron, Penn., is the lucky winner of a FLIP Mino HD video camera with a retail value of $200. Gary's entry was selected at random by Kara Stuart, MC Press Online Advertising sales manager. 

“MC Press rocks!” exclaimed Gary upon learning he had won. “Thanks to MC Press not only for the terrific video camera but also for putting all these great software downloads and white papers—just for IBM Power Systems guys like me—into one-easy-to-find place,” he said. 

Jeff Phillips, MC Press’ director of Marketing, stressed that readers can actually "win twice" when visiting the MC Resource Centers. While he acknowledged that the company may not be quite ready to give away a video camera to every visitor, "Everyone is welcome to request as many of the offerings as they like without cost or obligation," he said. Readers can choose offerings from the MC White Paper, MC Software, MC Webcast, Disaster Recovery, and Security Centers, Phillips noted. 

This month, the company has launched yet another great giveaway drawing for users of the MC Resource Centers. Under the theme of “Get in 'Touch' with the MC Resource Centers,” all entrants will have a chance to win an Apple iPod Touch. The prize has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $299.* The contest runs through June 30, when one lucky user will be awarded the iPod. IBM Power Systems professionals are encouraged to visit any of the MC Resource Centers to select as many of the available items as they like; simply include an entry to the contest along with your download order.
