Continued growth indicates upward market trends for business resiliency and disaster recovery solutions.

Vision Solutions recently formalized partner agreements with several leading distributors to distribute its award-winning software in Mexico, Central America, and South America. These include Avnet Technology Solutions, the solutions distribution leader and an operating group of Avnet, Inc., and SISA of Colombia, South America.

"The potential for opportunity and growth throughout this part of the world is tremendous," says Miguel Flis, vice president of sales for Vision Solutions. "The number of companies searching for a reliable high availability solution at an affordable price is significant, and we're delighted to have experienced and established organizations such as Avnet Technology Solutions and SISA in this valuable marketplace. Both have tremendous versatility and talent that serve as a major advantage to our company as we expand our focus in these markets."

Avnet Technology Solutions has more than 20 years of experience in working with value-added resellers in Mexico. The company is an industry-leading distributor of solutions incorporating enterprise computing systems, software, storage, networking solutions and services, marketing exclusively to the value-added reseller channel. In Mexico, Avnet Technology Solutions has offices in Monterrey and Mexico City.

"As the largest IBM channel partner in Mexico, we're looking forward to working more closely with Vision Solutions," says Claudia Martinez, new business manager, Avnet Technology Solutions. "Our customers will benefit from the addition of Vision Solutions' products to our full portfolio of support and solutions, which enables our reseller partners to accelerate their growth and successfully achieve their business goals."

Also joining Vision Solutions' partner network is SISA, the largest IBM Power Systems distributor in Colombia, South America. SISA S.A., a 100 percent Colombian company founded in 1986, specializes in systems integration and management of technology business solutions. Throughout the past two decades, SISA has developed a solid portfolio of technology products and services.

"SISA is extremely focused on growth and competitiveness," adds Eduardo Bonnet, a Vision Solutions' sales director. "The company employs nearly 150 professionals of which several are fully trained experts on Vision Solutions' EchoStream and EchoCluster technologies-and soon they'll be hosting customer events throughout the region."
