VAI Integrates iMessaging Systems’ Telephony Features with S2K Software Suite

iMessaging Systems is a provider of telephony integration and enablement solutions exclusively for the System i platform. VAI’s S2K ERP software suite maximizes productivity and profitability by centralizing company data and helping businesses to make well-informed decisions — crucial to successfully competing on the international market.

VAI has joined iMessaging’s Telephony Integration Program (TIP) for System i independent software vendors (ISVs). iMessaging’s TIP provides ISVs like VAI with a comprehensive set of application tools for telephony integration, including training and consulting services designed to speed the development cycle. VAI can now provide the S2K product line integrated with any private branch exchange (PBX). By offering iMessaging’s iNspire product to its customers, as an optional component of its S2K software line, VAI customers will have access to advanced telephony features with faster implementation of their System i solutions.

Additionally, iMessaging interoperates with IBM System i IP Telephony, announced late in 2007. IP Telephony, or VoIP, is a technology that is rapidly replacing traditional PBX telephone systems. By working with iMessaging, VAI has enabled S2K to operate within IBM’s IP Telephony infrastructure.

The iNspire Call Center Suite integrates VAI’s S2K software with any telephone or VoIP System, and enhances VAI’s S2K software with features such as inbound and outbound interactive voice response (IVR) for self-service, intelligent call routing, click-to-call functions and custom screen pops delivered simultaneously with calls.

VAI’s integration of iNspire benefits any company with a need to improve the efficiency and availability of telephone communications including retail call centers, telemarketers and customer support centers. Using iMessaging’s call routing capabilities and onscreen customized information, operators are armed with the pertinent data needed to successfully service clients – which decreases response time, improves customer support and satisfaction, and boosts employee productivity.
