Sycomp, a leading global provider of innovative data center and security solutions, announced that it has been honored as the 2016 IBM Systems Specialty Partner for North America.

The IBM Winning Edge Award recognizes the one IBM Business Partner in North America who has demonstrated superior leadership in both IBM System Storage and Power Systems and made significant commitments to the platforms' specialty offerings.

The award recognized Sycomp for its significant investment in skills that drive the technical excellence required to deliver world-class server and storage solutions. Through that investment, Sycomp achieved Business Partner Technical Vitality scores in the top 25 percent of IBM Systems Specialty Business Partners in North America. Sycomp's leadership and commitment to IBM Storage and Power Systems specialty offerings and its superior collaboration with the local IBM team, helped define Sycomp as the North America Systems Specialty Edge Award winner for 2016, the company said.

All of the 2016 Winning Edge Award winners were announced at IBM Edge Conference, which was recently concluded in Las Vegas, Nev.

"We are extremely proud to receive this prestigious award at IBM Edge 2016," said Allen Shahdadi, Sycomp VP of Global Sales. "It represents the collective effort of our Sales, Technical, Operations, and Finance teams to work together to provide the highest levels of service to our clients."
