Companies will focus on value and ROI for IBM System i market.

S4i Systems (www.s4isystems.com), a supplier of electronic document management and disk management solutions, today announced its partnership with Life IT, a provider of IBM software solutions for customers in the U.K.  Life IT will distribute and support S4i’s Express and DASD-Plus products to help maximize efficiencies in System i business environments, the companies said.

S4i Express is a fully integrated System i automated report distribution and electronic document management (EDM) system that can automate all document processing enterprisewide.  IT leaders use S4i Express to improve internal and external business communications. Because of its scalability, completeness, and cost/value benefit, S4i Express is a popular System i EDM offering.

S4i System's DASD-Plus trio of disk optimization products automates tasks such as clearing history logs, compressing data, resizing libraries, and reorganizing physical file members.  DASD-Plus also forecasts disk utilization and alerts administrators to dangerous spikes in DASD usage.

"It is a pleasure to partner with Life IT, a company that shares our enthusiasm and vision for a paperless future,” said Susanne States, S4i’s sales and client services director. “Life IT’s wealth of experience with the needs of the market brings a history of value as a trusted partner and reseller.”

Howard Myers, director, Life IT, said, “I look forward to closely working with S4i presenting our clients with an affordable and scalable way to manage their content and documents.  Our System i customers will benefit from the most advanced multi-function products on the market today.”
