Renowned IBM i Disaster Recovery Subject Matter Expert (SME) Richard Dolewski joins Maxava as Chief Business Continuity Officer. The appointment of Mr. Dolewski follows in quick succession to the company’s recent addition of John Dominic as VP Sales, North America.
Richard Dolewski brings extensive expertise in IBM i environments on IBM Power Systems to his new role. Mr. Dolewski is one of the most highly regarded subject matter experts in the Business Continuity industry, with expertise in Data Center recovery planning, High Systems Availability, Backup and Recovery program design, and Cloud Computing Architecture. He continues to be selected as a SME at IBM Power events thanks to his status as a highly decorated and award winning speaker and as a member of the Speaker Excellence Hall of Fame. He was recently presented with the first “IBM COMMON Impact Speaker Award” by COMMON. In addition to being a certified disaster recovery planner with over 25 years in IT, Mr. Dolewski is the author of the book System i Disaster Recovery Planning currently available in 15 languages.
In his new role with Maxava, Mr. Dolewski will assist the company in further solidifying its reputation as the leading provider of IBM i Disaster Recovery in the cloud. As Chief Business Continuity Officer, Mr. Dolewski will be instrumental in Maxava’s approach to IBM i customers planning to address the wider strategic concerns around High Availability and Disaster Recovery in an increasingly complex data-rich world.
