Tour includes expert line-up: Frank Soltis and Trevor Perry joined by IBM’s Alison Butterill and Steve Will for extended six-date European tour!

looksoftware is pleased to announce the return of iBelieve & COMMON Europe tour with a six-date event that kicks off in November 2014. iBelieve stalwarts Frank Soltis and Trevor Perry head up this year’s event joined by IBM’s Alison Butterill and Steve Will, as well as Maxava’s Matthew Ashton and Paul Hodgkinson of looksoftware. All speakers will present brand new sessions focusing on IBM i’s value to the business, and embracing new technologies such as cloud and mobile computing. These events are free of charge to both members and non-members of local COMMON groups, and delegates will have the opportunity to address the speaker panel during a live Q&A session.

Last year iBelieve drew over 400 delegates and this year’s interest is very strong again with local user groups anticipating an increase in numbers. In addition to the thought leaders that participated last year, Maxava joins the speaking roster following attendee feedback that an infrastructure-focused session would be a welcomed addition.

“Father of the AS/400” Frank Soltis feels the iBelieve phenomenon is gaining momentum and he is thrilled to reprise his role as headline speaker for the 2014 tour. “I’m looking forward to this year’s iBelieve & COMMON Europe tour immensely. The attendees’ enthusiasm last year was quite incredible – they really seem to engage with the speakers, making each event a lively and encouraging experience. I’m a firm believer in the local user group, and what’s so great about the European iBelieve events is the collaboration with the user groups that enables us to meet with, and hear from so many passionate IBM I people. It promises to be a great couple of weeks”.

With registrations already open, attendees can book their seats and see full agendas for each event at http://go.looksoftware.com/ibelieve-ibmi-community-events. The tour schedule is as follows:
