In December, ASNA will celebrate its 30th anniversary serving the IBM midrange community. For the past three decades, ASNA has supported its customers' success with innovative, award-winning, and patented software solutions for IBM midrange and Microsoft products.

Through the years, ASNA has transitioned and reinvented itself continually to provide leading technologies for its customers' ever-changing requirements.  In its early days, ASNA's flagship products for the System/34 and System/36 were Acceler8, for improved performance, and 400RPG, to provide RPG III-like power to RPG II.  The company moved onto the AS/400 in 1988 with Activ8, the performance booster, and Extermin8, the AS/400's first interactive source-level debugger.

In 1994, ASNA moved into the world of GUI development and delivered ASNA Visual RPG and DataGate that provided an easy and seamless approach to Windows and Web development for AS/400 developers.  In the early 2000s, ASNA ushered in Visual Studio-based ASNA Visual RPG for .NET as well as an IBM i application modernization focus with ASNA Monarch and ASNA Wings.

Today, ASNA's suite of products and services are used by thousands of developers and millions of users worldwide. With ASNA Monarch and ASNA Wings, the company offers a strategic and proven migration path using modernization products that deliver value through a staged approach to IBM i modernization.

As its 30th birthday approaches, ASNA management is expressing its deep appreciation to all its customers worldwide for their continued support over the past three decades. Says ASNA cofounder and President Anne Ferguson: "We've been invested in our customers' success for the last 30 years and will continue far into the future!" Without the longstanding support of ASNA customers, she notes, reaching this 30-year milestone for the company would never have been possible. Ferguson said she wishes to express a resounding "Thank you!" to all of the company's customers over the past 30 years.
