ASNA Spanish business partners Galilea TI and Grupo CSM sponsored an IBM i application modernization breakfast meeting, entitled "Modernizacion De Aplicaciones Para Iseries," for IBM i decision-makers on Tuesday, November 15th.

Says Mrs. Carmen Clemente, CEO of Galilea TI, "We were very pleased to have had 26 attendees at our breakfast meeting. The attendees enjoyed several great vendor presentations, had a wonderful breakfast, and shared many ideas amongst themselves." Adds Mr. José Garcia, Owner & IT Director of Grupo CSM; "We were very pleased to have had more than 20 companies represented at our breakfast meeting. It was great to share with all of them how we can help them to add power and functionality to their IBM i RPG solutions."

Grupo CSM and Galilea TI, ASNA distributors and IBM i application modernization vendors, provided informational sessions about their solutions and a couple of customers presented case studies discussing how they used specific solutions to solve their business challenges.

Carlos Valero, ASNA's president and CEO, and Jose Maria Carrasco, ASNA's European Sales Director represented ASNA at the Valencia breakfast. Jose Maria made a presentation about ASNA Wings and Mobile RPG and how they modernize IBM i RPG user interfaces, as well as how they can create great mobile apps with RPG. Omar Coating and MPL, businesses located in Valencia Spain, are both ASNA Wings customers. Mr. Miguel Angel Jurado, IT Director of Omar Coating and Mr. Pablo Pons, CIO of MPL, each presented case studies to the group to show how their organizations have been successful with ASNA Wings.

"The breakfast meeting in Valencia was a great morning. We got to meet many IBM i users and discussed their business challenges with them. It is always such a good experience to hear first-hand the issues IBM i shops have today," reports ASNA's Jose Maria Carrasco.
