HiT Software Releases New ODBC and OLE DB High-Performance Connectivity Products for IBM DB2 for i

BackOffice Associates' HiT Software division, a leader in connectivity middleware for IBM DB2 databases, and Data Replication and Change Data Capture (CDC) solutions for heterogeneous database environments, today announced the release of HiT ODBC/400 v10.0 and HiT OLEDB/400 v6.0, the newest versions of its high-performance connectivity products specifically for application access to IBM DB2 for i databases. 

 

These products offer new features including: 

 

 

 

  • New x64-compliant APIs

 

  • New option to store frequently used SQL statements for increased efficiency in data access

 

  • Improved support for Japanese and Hebrew/Arabic language conversions
