Existing customers of IBM SmartCloud Control Desk, IBM Workload Automation, and IBM Application Performance Management who are active on software subscription and support can now leverage their applicable licenses to move to a software as a service (SaaS) delivery for the product at a discounted rate. This allows you to continue to use your software licenses, but have IBM provide the servers, network infrastructure, operating system, middleware, backup, security, and all other aspects of delivering services through the SaaS environment.

As you move to this model, you will be able to run your licenses entirely using the IBM infrastructure or run a hybrid model, which enables you to run your own installation of the software on-premise and another instance of it as a part of the IBM SaaS environment.
