IBM is teaming with Box to add its security-rich file sharing, storage, and collaboration tools.

IBM Support for Box

IBM support enablement for Box is a support offering that entitles clients, who are purchasing Box third-party offerings through IBM, to call IBM for support.

IBM support teams are available to assist with technical issues of varying degrees of severity for Box third-party offerings. To help provide answers to clients, support teams will be the first point of contact for the client and then engage other groups within IBM or Box, including operations and development, as needed.

Clients must purchase the IBM Support Enablement and Enhanced Support Services for Box, a third-party SaaS Offering, through IBM to receive response time credits and 24 x 7 support through IBM. Support response time objectives are limited for clients who purchase the IBM Support Enablement and do not purchase the Enhanced Support Services for Box, a third-party SaaS offering, through IBM.

Box KeySafe

Box KeySafe is designed for organizations that want the advantage of content collaboration in the cloud while maintaining full control over the encryption keys that protect their content. Clients have the option to purchase Box KeySafe KMS or Box KeySafe HSM through IBM.

  • Box KeySafe KMS is an option for organizations that require a simple solution configurable in 20 minutes to address advanced security needs.
  • Box KeySafe HSM offers additional protection by storing encryption keys in an intrusion-resistant, tamper evident, hardware security module.

Box Zones

Box Zones provides in-region data storage. Zones can be purchased through IBM and offers clients a choice of infrastructure providers and locations where content can be stored. In addition, Zones preserves the security and privacy of content with Box and is designed for ease of use.

For a complete list of Box products and services, refer to Software Announcement 216-196, dated June 28, 2016.
