SteelEye Technology Announces Support for IBM System i Platform and Business Partnership with Vision

SteelEye Technology Inc., a provider of data protection and application availability products for Linux and Windows, has announced the expansion of its product set with its high availability clustering, continuous data protection and disaster recovery solutions for IBMÆs System i.

SteelEyeÆs product portfolio is now available to run within Linux-based partitions across the System i network and on IBM System x and Bladecenter servers running the Windows operating system integrated with System i via iSCSI technology. In both environments, SteelEye's products support configurations with i5/OS providing virtual storage to the Linux and Windows environments.
