Symtrax has announced version 4.8 of Compleo Archivor; a component of their Compleo Suite output management software used for creation, formatting, distribution and archiving of ERP documents such as invoices, purchase orders, and payroll. With version 4.8 users can now store documents in virtually any format, including Excel, XML, PDF and BMP. Archived documents are easily accessed for viewing, printing or emailing via a Web browser. 

Compleo Archivor 4.8 supports all common document types, is 10 times faster, and can securely publish documents to the Web. Archiving and publishing documents generated by ERPs, such as SAP and JDE, or platforms like Power Systems IBM i and Windows has never been easier. 

Archivor 4.8 has an optimized database structure that increases search response time by a factor of 10 and improved document security rules. Security can now be set at an individual level so that, for example, a search of invoices would result in your chief accountant retrieving all invoices while a branch manager would only see invoices from his branch. Additionally, document life cycle management improvements automate document specific rules for active archiving, "sunsetting," and deleting. And Archivor 4.8 improves compliance with legal regulations by allowing the tracing of all documents to their original reports.
