This robust document and image viewer opens and displays many common image formats, and provides annotation capabilities, streaming of large files, a print accelerator module and more. The viewer is also modular and extensible allowing customers to add functionality and support for hundreds of additional document formats through a suite of add-on modules that include the IBM Daeja ViewONE Professional Permanent Redaction Server Module, IBM Daeja ViewONE Professional Module for Microsoft Office, and IBM Daeja ViewONE Professional Universal Viewing Module.

This alternative, server-based document and image viewer uses HTML5 technology to deliver a feature-rich viewer, without requiring Java on the client. The viewer supports multiple users and platforms, and enables customers to include additional functionality through add-on modules.

IBM Daeja ViewONE V4.1 products deliver these core capabilities:

• Allows fast access to any document, anywhere. A web-based viewer that enables users to open and view hundreds of document and image file formats, even if the native application is not present on their devices.
• Helps to conceal and protect sensitive and private data. Interactive redaction and markup features complement the capability of IBM products, such as IBM Content Navigator, to mask and annotate documents and images to anonymize or protect sensitive data.
• Innovative ViewONE technology also makes it easy to view larger files.

IBM Daeja ViewONE V4.1 is the first product release from the IBM acquisition of Daeja Image Systems, Ltd. IBM Daeja ViewONE products complement IBM enterprise content management capabilities. Daeja ViewONE technology is also included as features in several IBM ECM products:
