IntelliChief's solution integration with Infor XA and customized features impress leading manufacturer/distributor of vehicle towing products.

IntelliChief LLC has announced that it has been selected to provide CURT Manufacturing with new electronic forms software, Infor Formtastic, to create unique, custom forms. IntelliChief solutions, which make up the Infor Document Management Suite, provide seamless integration with Infor XA, CURT Manufacturing's ERP of choice. This was a key factor in the selection and installation of Infor Formtastic, according to the company.

CURT Manufacturing Inc. is a manufacturer, importer and distributor of towing system products, original equipment trailer and specialty equipment products, that combine competitive price, unsurpassed quality and unparalleled aesthetics.

Recently, CURT Manufacturing had formed partnerships with customers such as Amazon and other large e-commerce based companies. In order to comply with the needs of these larger customers, it was necessary to design customized packing slips for each customer. By demonstrating how Infor Formtastic integrates with CURT Manufacturing's ERP, Infor XA, users at the manufacturing company have been able to save time, while also gaining the ability to create customized forms when necessary.

"The good thing is that our new process of creating custom pack slips [using Infor Formtastic] happens very quickly, to the point where our associates hit the enter button, walk to the printer, and out comes the pack slip, [so] no standing around waiting," says Tim Hau, director of Information Technology at CURT Manufacturing.

After one of its partners suggested Infor Formtastic to CURT Manufacturing, management reviewed the product, noticing its superior functionality, integration with Infor XA, and value pricing before concluding that the Infor Formtastic product was the best fit. "With our ability to provide a simple mechanism to design and produce these custom forms along with the 'off the shelf' Infor XA integration we provide, [it] set the Infor Formtastic product apart, surpassing all other competition for CURT Manufacturing," says Michael R. Rooney, IntelliChief LLC vice president of Sales and Marketing.

The functionality of Infor Formtastic is intelligent, yet logical and comprehensible for users. "During the initial training, it became obvious that Infor Formtastic's functionality was clear and easy to understand, to the point where the entry level person who runs the development process was able to quickly pick up on it and take ownership to make it all happen," says Tim Hau, director of Information Technology at CURT.

The company asked for IntelliChief LLC to design their product to match specific needs of their company. "To me, the very welcome part of this effort was the fact that [our supplier] listened and came through with the functionality that we required when we needed it," says Hau. "Any problems we encountered, IntelliChief was able to work through [them] with us, which provided us with a great partnership."
