IBM Silverpop Engage adds capabilities for capturing mobile behaviors and sending push notifications through subscription to the Engage Mobile option.
IBM Silverpop Engage users can now subscribe to the new, separately purchased Engage Mobile option. The Engage Mobile option:
- Connects mobile apps to Silverpop Engage and enables collection of mobile behavior data to be combined with existing Silverpop Engage customer profiles.
- Sends targeted and engaging push notifications to Apple iOS and Android devices directly from Silverpop Engage.
New customers who purchase the Engage Mobile option of Silverpop Engage can take advantage of a simplified contract process. Tiered choices for on-boarding services (Advisory, Standard, Standard Plus) and ongoing support services (Advisory, Standard, Standard Plus) are available through Silverpop Engage.
For existing customers of IBM Mobile Push Notification, entitled under IBM Mobile Customer Engagement, there is no change to subscription or services support.
