Announcement marks a major step in company's strategy to automate log and compliance reporting for IBM Power Systems and other virtualized environments.

Safestone Technologies, supplier of IBM Power Systems security and compliance solutions, has announced the release of Compliance Center for Linux establishing the company as the only provider to offer a multi-platform compliance security solution for IBM Power Systems.

The streamlined log management and compliance reporting tool for AIX was launched last fall, and the addition of the Linux platform (RedHat Enterprise Linux and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server) completes Safestone’s multi-platform compliance security solution across IBM Power Systems operating systems.

The company notes that organizations today are faced with tightened budgets and reduced staff, yet the demands of compliance regulations and audits remain constant. Cost and time-saving measures are essential, but can often leave organizations with compromised security.

Automation of log reporting is the key to ensuring compliance standards are met while upholding company security policies. Compliance Center for Power automates the way organizations can manage their security policies to comply with numerous external regulations and industry mandates.
