HelpSystems announced today it was selected by analyst firm EMA as a top privileged access management (PAM) provider. In its report EMA Top 3: Ten Priorities for Enabling Secure Access to Enterprise IT Resources, EMA names HelpSystems as a leader for its BoKS ServerControl identity, account, and privileged access management platform. The Top 3 award affirms that HelpSystems’ approach to managing privileged access is highly secure and comprehensive.

EMA analyst Steve Brasen authored the EMA Top 3 Report and identified the top vendors offering innovative solutions that are best aligned with today’s customer priorities and pain points in the secure access space.

"EMA Top 3 reports are designed to inform and inspire organizations in their project planning and vendor selection process by identifying the most effective management platforms that resolve the biggest IT challenges faced by organizations today," noted Steve Brasen, EMA Research Director for Endpoint and Identity Management. "HelpSystems' innovative approach to centralizing policy management of multivendor Linux and UNIX server environments warrants recognition of BoKS ServerControl as a Top 3 Solution for enabling privileged access management."

“We acquired BoKS ServerControl in 2017 because customers told us it was the best way to manage privileged access,” said Chris Heim, CEO, HelpSystems. “This award, coupled with strong customer demand, confirms that. We are excited to continue to develop this offering to align with changing customer needs. One of our goals as a company is to simplify IT lives, and solutions like this that improve productivity and securely control access go a long way toward restoring peace of mind for breach-wary IT teams.”

Every day organizations around the world in a variety of industries trust BoKS ServerControl to simplify security policy enforcement and control access to critical systems and information.
