Zebra Technologies Corporation, a Gold level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), today announced it has achieved Oracle Validated Integration between its thermal barcode and RFID printer product line and Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1.
Zebra printers communicate with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne via the Zebra barcode printing solution, providing direct capabilities to seamlessly receive and process XML output from JD Edwards EnterpriseOne more quickly. By eliminating printing delays, customers save valuable time and money, and improve operational efficiencies.
"We are pleased to achieve Oracle Validated Integration and continue to evolve our relationship with Oracle. Our interoperability solutions strategy provides customers a solid platform on which they can run their business and the ability to compete more effectively and efficiently in today's ever-changing marketplace," said Bob Woodward, director global partnerships-software, Zebra Technologies. "By utilizing this process and achieving Oracle Validated Integration, we're better equipped to solve customer business problems."
To achieve Oracle Validated Integration, Oracle partners are required to meet a stringent set of requirements that are based on the needs and priorities of the customers. Zebra provides a combination of software and hardware engineered to work together with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
Using Oracle standards, the documented solution delivers greater visibility into critical assets and transactions in the business.
"Oracle Validated Integration applies a rigorous technical review and test process," said Kevin O'Brien, senior director, ISV and SaaS Strategy, Oracle. "Achieving Oracle Validated Integration through Oracle PartnerNetwork gives our customers confidence that the integration between Zebra's barcode and RFID printer products and Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1 has been validated and that the products work together as designed.
