Maxava, a leader in IBM i high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) software for both on-premise and cloud environments, announced that Richard Dolewski is currently appearing at a number of events across the globe.

Richard Dolewski, Chief Business Continuity Officer for Maxava, started September by speaking at the COMMON 2013 Annual Fall Meeting, the world's largest community of IBM midrange users.  This conference, held in St Louis, MO, marks Dolewski's thirteenth year as a featured presenter and with over 25 years experience in Disaster Recovery the audience benefitted from his three sessions covering critical elements of disaster recovery.

Following on from the success of Common, Dolewski flew to Denmark to present at GS Gruppen/Common Denmark.  This group, a Maxava iFoundation grant recipient, has been around since 1974 and draws members from all over Denmark.

On September 24th, Richard will be sharing his expertise at the International Power 2013 event in Milton Keynes, UK.  This is a special year for NiSUG being their 20th Anniversary as well as the 25th Anniversary of the IBM i.  Richard's session "Is Your IBM i Recoverable" will give attendees the opportunity to learn how to avoid critical pitfalls in disaster recovery planning.

To wrap up the month, Dolewski heads to Sweden for the Common Sweden – Data3 Annual Conference in Stockholm.  Joining other renowned speakers such as Charles Guarino and Alison Butterill, Dolewski hopes to educate attendees on Backup & Recovery Best Practices and the benefits of adopting Cloud technology.

Mr Dolewski explains "No one wants to be in the position of explaining why their organization could never recover from a disaster. Complacent DR thinking is a serious mistake that will cost organizations dearly.  Through my speaking sessions I break down the components of the recovery planning process,  illustrate critical points of failure and provide best practices examples that will benefit IT professionals.

My goal is for companies to be prepared for whatever untimely disaster may strike their organization and ensure that their business will survive.  Attendees will learn how to protect their company's greatest asset - their DATA and ensure business resiliency! "
