Kato Spaces is here!

Hello IBM i users!

After more than seven years of providing reliable and cost-effective IBM i hosting, we are thrilled to announce that Litmis Spaces, your go-to solution for IBM i cloud hosting, has been rebranded as Kato Spaces. This change aligns with our broader mission to provide seamless, cost-effective solutions across the IBM i platform under our parent organization, Kato Integrations.

What's Changing?

In essence, only our name is changing. We continue to pride ourselves in providing the most cost-effective IBM i hosting solution on the market – our commitment to offering the most affordable starter systems available, backed by a team of IBM i experts, remains steadfast. You can expect the same high-quality service and features as you’ve always known us for, including:

  • Competitive Pricing: Create a customized Kato Spaces IBM i cloud partition for as little as $200 per month.
  • High-Performance Systems: Backed by SLAs with a 99.99% uptime guarantee.
  • Secure & Compliant Facilities: Our data centers are gated, monitored, and staffed 24/7 to ensure your data is safe.

  • PTF Update Services: You can still hire our team to handle your PTF updates, or manage your own.

There are plenty of ways a Kato Space can help your IBM i footprint. Lightning-fast IBM i hosting is only a few clicks away!

Why Kato Spaces?

Kato Spaces began as a way to offer cost-effective hosting to developers looking to break into development on the IBM i – and Kato Spaces now carries the torch, and continues to function that way. Many IBM i hosting providers won’t offer smaller, fractional-core systems, typically because they work with massive scale businesses; we want to help the niche of smaller-scale businesses and consultants, so our systems go as small as .05 (1/20th) of a core. Furthermore, with our easy-to-scale philosophy, you can upgrade system resources as needed.

We’re providing the same service as before, but this time with an all new style and documentation. We continue to maintain our high commitment to customer success and satisfaction, in keeping with Kato Integrations’ mission to support developers on the IBM i. If you’d like to learn more about our other solutions available through Kato Integrations, we offer API development toolkits built in 100% RPG for general use, address tools, UPS connectivity, and CyberSource payment processing.

What's Next?

The transition to Kato Spaces will be smooth and seamless. All existing contracts, terms, and conditions will remain unchanged. We’ve updated our documentation site to highlight some of the different ways you can use your Kato Spaces IBM i.

We will continue to be the IBM i hosting solution trusted by hobbyists, developers, and mid-sized businesses everywhere. Our customers have said great things about us,

“I am very happy to recommend the Kato Spaces offering to anyone interested. We needed a small, light setup to help train a new developer on IBM i in a way they could feel free to try anything and not worry about the repercussions of the learning process. From system management to ‘Hello World’ in RPG to generally getting a feel for what is or isn’t smart in the IBM i, Kato Spaces gave us that freedom to learn it all. I highly recommend and endorse their offering!”
– King Harrison IV, Executive Vice President, K3S

“Kato Spaces has been indispensable for trying out the latest open source offerings on the IBM i without interfering with production boxes.”
– Robert Brown, RBPA Services

“My Kato Space was quickly set up, my customer service inquiries were responded to immediately, and the space is 100% reliable and 100% available. Great product, great team!”
– Greg Alston, Developer, ASE
