iSeries Navigator is a functionally rich tool with so many useful features that it is sometimes overwhelming. Some customers enjoy exploring the iSeries Navigator landscape to see what its capabilities are, but many would rather be led to the really good stuff by an experienced user.

Help Topics in iSeries Navigator--By simply opening iSeries Navigator and clicking on the Help > Help Topics menu, you will see a nice little window that introduces you to iSeries Navigator. The information ranges from describing what's new in each release to showing you what you can do with iSeries Navigator. The way it shows you what you can do with iSeries Navigator is quite useful because it also gets you used to the navigation tree. When you click on the pictures, the Help window displays a summary as well as a list of the types of tasks you can run in that folder. It also gives you a summary of how to use the dialog help and general guidelines on how to best use iSeries Navigator.iSeries Navigator Web Site--At the iSeries Navigator product site, you will learn overall concepts, but as you dig into this site, you will also find a deep level of detailed information that will help you in your day-to-day tasks.
Introduction to iSeries Navigator Flash Demo--This overview will acquaint you with iSeries Navigator. It's one of those Flash demos that's pretty fun to view, and you learn a lot at the same time.
