Among the new features in EXTOL Business Integrator 2.4 is Project Builder, designed to help rapidly create and maintain integration projects.

EXTOL International Inc., has announced V2.4 of its EXTOL Business Integrator (EBI) software, which includes category-leading features and customer-requested enhancements, such as a graphical Project Builder, REST Consumer and Provider wizards, and improved memory and system performance. EXTOL also upgraded the EXTOL EDI Integrator, an optional EBI subsystem for EDI document translation, integration and trading partner management.

EXTOL Business Integrator is a general-purpose integration broker suite that allows customers to create and deploy internal (A2A) and business-to-business (B2B) integration solutions without additional programming. New features in EBI 2.4 include:

  • Project Builder feature, designed to assist rapid creation and maintenance of integration projects
  • Web Services features, including a REST implementation, SSL support, and multiple attachment support
  • Significantly improved EDI validation and processing performance
  • "Simple Date Purge" option for rapid purging of log system data in high volume systems
  • Late Acknowledgements Report for EDI (available with the EDI option)
