IBM® Tealeaf® Customer Experience (CX) on Cloud -- Akamai Connector provides the following capabilities:

  • Organizations are able to perform passive network capture in the cloud, which is the type of data capture that captures and records the interaction between the visitor and the web application environment by using a network tap or network SPAN port.
  • Organizations with Akamai can leverage their existing investment in content delivery networks (CDNs) to easily adopt a customer experience solution.
  • Organizations can now get network data directory from Akamai CDNs into their Tealeaf CX on Cloud environment, in addition to the data from UICSDK and DOM Capture that they have posted to Tealeaf CX on Cloud already.
  • Organizations with Tealeaf CX on Cloud receive rapid deployment and streamlined technical enablement of Akamai. Organizations can now feed cached and proxy data to Tealeaf CX on Cloud through use of Akamai, which is technologically quicker to provision.
  • As the largest CDN provider, Akamai enables access to all data flowing through their over 200,000 CDN edge servers on all seven continents.
  • A three-year exclusive agreement with IBM ensures that IBM is the only major vendor that will have this type of Akamai CDN service from Akamai.
