The program is based on the *noMAX Software Subscription solution announced earlier this year.
Maximum Availability, a global leader in IBM i high availability software, has announced the *noMAX 20/20 Program designed for customers who are already running IBM i replication software but who want an improvement in cost, functionality and support over their current solution.
Why 20/20? Maximum Availability believes there are at least 20 good reasons to upgrade to *noMAX and it is prepared to guarantee it can deliver a 20 percent saving on annual fees for those customers who upgrade from a qualifying competitive product.
The *noMAX 20/20 Program is based on the *noMAX Software Subscription solution announced earlier in the year. The program offers flexible contract terms from as little as 12 months, and reflecting MA’s confidence in its software, allows a 60-day right of rescission on the contract. In addition, those customers who sign up to a three-year software subscription agreement under the 20/20 program will also have their implementation fees included in the price.
Simon O’Sullivan, executive VP for MA said, “We started out 10 years ago to build a replication product for the AS/400 that was designed from the ground up to deliver the best performance, be quick and easy to install, easy to operate and require minimal support. This heritage of one core product, designed for ease of use, reliability and performance, is really paying dividends now and allows us the luxury to confidently offer 20/20 to the market.”
O’Sullivan says, “It is a really straightforward proposition--customers that move up to *noMAX are guaranteed to save 20 percent on their current annual fees, and if for any reason, they are not completely satisfied with *noMAX they can cancel in the first 60 days and walk away from the contract without penalty. We are that confident!”
*noMAX 20/20 includes the software license, annual support and maintenance fees, flexible contract terms, the 60 day money-back guarantee, and for those who sign up for three years, implementation fees as well.
“With 20/20, our aim is to provide customers currently using high availability/disaster recovery software a better solution and save them money,” says Allan Campbell, CEO of Maximum Availability. “We are committed to the i, it is our absolute focus, and despite the doom and gloom elsewhere, we are growing, hiring staff and continuing to develop and enhance our software. We understand clearly that there is a market for quality software at a fair price, especially when it is backed up by a support team that really grasps that it is our customers that pay our wages, and we hope to capture more of those customers with this program.”
“We believe our new model removes the final hurdles for all IBM i users to have a quality product with reasonable annual fees and to work with a software partner that is growing and investing in its IBM i products," says O’Sullivan. "We fully expect that organizations who have solutions in place, but are struggling with operational issues or high costs, will now appreciate that there is a real alternative to improve their operational environment and meet demands for budget reductions at the same time,” he says.
