What Is New

Automated clone replication

IBM Tivoli Key Lifecycle Manager V2.0.1 provides an automated clone replication function that can clone up to five copies of a master IBM Tivoli Key Lifecycle Manager. Each copy (clone) is an IBM Tivoli Key Lifecycle Manager instance, and requires an IBM Tivoli Key Lifecycle Manager Basic Edition entitlement.

Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) V1.1 standard support

Tivoli Key Lifecycle Manager V2.0.1 adds support for KMIP V1.1, allowing KMIP clients to interoperate with IBM Tivoli Key Lifecycle Manager at either KMIP V1.1 or the KMIP V1.0 level.

Master key in Hardware Security Modules support

Tivoli Key Lifecycle Manager V2.0.1 adds the capability of using a Hardware Security Module to store the master key that is used to help protect all keys stored in the database. This capability can be enabled for installs with existing data or for new installations of Tivoli Key Lifecycle Manager.
