Las Vegas seminar features top security experts, highlighted by hacking demonstration.
PowerTech, provider of security and compliance solutions for IBM i Power Systems servers, will sponsor a two-day security conference for users interested in learning more about overcoming today’s security challenges. Scheduled for September 22–23, 2011 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, PowerTech has assembled product, industry, and security experts to help users unravel the mysteries of IBM i security.
The IBM i Security Event of the Year will bring together a unique mix of security professionals. Users who attend can choose from a variety of sessions on a broad range of topics, including the latest in IBM i security news from IBM experts, security best practices, the future of biometric authentication, and a live hacking demonstration.
Among those presenting are Jeff Uehling, responsible for the design and development of IBM i security; John Earl, a recognized expert in IBM i security and encryption; Tom Garcia, founder and CEO of InfoSight, a bank security and consulting firm; and Pat Botz, an internationally known information security expert.
