IBM Tivoli Storage Manager V7.1.1 helps improve data protection and disaster recovery capabilities and extends incremental forever backup to Microsoft Hyper-V.

 

 

IBM Tivoli Storage Manager V7.1.1 products offer the following new capabilities:

  • IBM Tivoli Storage Manager V7.1.1 and IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Extended Edition V7.1.1 help reduce the cost of ownership through delivering optimal global data management with different policies on the primary and secondary Tivoli Storage Manager servers for replication.
  • IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Virtual Environments V7.1.1 extends incremental forever backup for Microsoft Hyper-V without deploying an agent in guest and simplifies single file restore for VMware environments.
  • IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Operations Center V7.1.1 adds integrated administrative actions for schedule creation, and improved client and server diagnostics from a single user interface.
  • New front-end capacity licensing option for IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Suite for Unified Recovery and IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Suite for Unified Recovery Entry and Enterprise Editions
