DataNumen has released DataNumen SQL Recovery version 2.4, a powerful Windows application that repairs damaged files created by Microsoft SQL Server and other programs that create and process .MDF and .NDF files. Version 2.4 features a revamped recovery engine that improves file recovery speed.

SQL Server software from Microsoft has built-in tools to prevent data corruption. These tools include data mirroring, snapshot replication, transactional replication, AlwaysOn Availability Groups, and failover clustering. Despite these built-in features, it´s not unusual for .MDF files and their associated .NDF files to become damaged. DataNumen SQL Recovery uses advanced proprietary technologies to scan these damaged database files, and to recover as much information as possible.

The free trial version of DataNumen SQL Recovery lets users see a preview of all of the recovered records and tables. By purchasing the full version of the program, users will be able to save all of the recovered information as plain text or .MDF files.

The software works with all modern versions of SQL files, from SQL Server 2005 through 2014. In addition, the software can recover SQL files from popular virtual machine (VM) applications such as VMWare, backup files such as Windows NTBAckup, and disk images files such as .ISO images. If any competitive SQL data recovery program can recover more data than DataNumen´s program, DataNumen will refund the customer´s order.

DataNumen SQL Recovery fixes both the structure and data in damaged SQL tables. The application recovers sparse columns, deleted records, and SQL files as large as 16TB. In addition to creating databases in .MDF format, the software can also create a plain text file that contains SQL statements that can be used to reconstruct the database.

The registered version of the software can be run in batch mode to fix an unlimited number of damaged SQL files. DataNumen SQL Recovery works with modern drives as well as older media such as CDROMs, DVDs, floppy disks, Zip disks, and other removables.

Network administrators, database managers, and law enforcement officials use DataNumen SQL Recovery as a forensic tool to identify and repair damaged SQL files. DataNumen SQL Recovery is fully integrated with the Windows Explorer context (right-click) menu, enabling users to launch the repair process quickly and easily. Dragging and dropping files is also supported.

Price and Availability

DataNumen SQL Recovery version 2.4 runs under Windows XP/Vista/7/8, as well as Windows Server 2003/2008/2012, and costs $299.95(US) for a single-user license. Multi-user license discounts are available.
