Latest version delivers powerful platform extensibility and mobile capabilities.
Profound Logic Software is pleased to announce the forthcoming release of their IBM i application modernization product, Profound UI V4.0, at the COMMON 2012 Annual Meeting and Exposition, May 6-9 in Anaheim, California, at the Disneyland Resort.
“The annual COMMON meeting is the can’t-miss conference for IBM i users, and the perfect opportunity to let the community know about the newest version of Profound UI,” says Profound Logic CEO Alex Roytman. “Profound UI 4.0 is a very exciting release and includes many of the features and enhancements our customers and the IBM i community have been asking for.”
The official announcement will take place at the conference, and Roytman says it is worth waiting for. “Our Profound UI suite already gives IBM i users best-of-breed solutions for 5250 Web enablement and RPG application modernization,” he says. “With version 4.0, users will be able to extend the power of Profound UI to other platforms, including PHP. And because we know how important mobile applications are to today’s businesses, we have also released new 5250 modernization skins for the iPad, including the latest iPad 3 release.”
COMMON attendees can visit the Profound Software team and see the latest Profound UI release in action at Booth #519 in the Exposition Hall.
Also at Booth #519, attendees can watch live product demos of the entire Profound UI product suite, register for an iPad 3 giveaway, and receive a free Profound Logic t-shirt while supplies last.
Additionally, COMMON attendees can attend the following sessions by Profound Logic’s application modernization experts, Alex Roytman and Brian May: “Using JSON with AJAX on the IBM I”, “Modernizing Your File I/O with Data Structures”, “JavaScript Frameworks for RPG/PHP Developers”, and a hands-on lab, “RPG Open Access and Profound UI/Transforming Green-Screens into Rich Web Apps Using Genie.”
