HelpSystems Partners with SoftLanding Systems to Enhance Change Management Solution for IBM i

HelpSystems, a leading provider of systems management, business intelligence, and security solutions, today announced it has partnered with SoftLanding Systems, a division of UNICOM Global, to provide enhanced software development capabilities for IBM i customers. SoftLanding is integrating the HelpSystems application development tool ABSTRACT with its TURNOVER for iSeries v100 change management software to deliver an enhanced development solution.

 

TURNOVER for iSeries supports repeatable procedures for developing and maintaining IBM i applications, unifying the software development process. ABSTRACT speeds application development with its set of cross-referencing, documentation, and programming tools. When combined, customers will experience increased efficiency and greater control over their development environments.

 

"The partnership provides SoftLanding with a platform through which its built-in product interfaces to newer versions of ABSTRACT can be ratified," said Jim Fisher, Operations Manager, SoftLanding.
